This July, Ibsen on the Fjord took its first bow — seven sold-out performances of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler, staged at Karpedammen Scene on Akershus Festning. 

Every night at Karpedammen brought something different: some evenings were warm and golden, with the sun lingering over the fjord, while others tested us with wind and rain — and each performance took on its own character shaped by the weather, the light, and the audience in front of us. What stayed constant was the warmth of the people who came to see us, receptive, generous, and kind, night after night. Behind the scenes, our cast and crew built something just as memorable as what happened on stage, coming together with real community spirit to set up and strike for each performance, rain or shine. 

The response moved us deeply — audiences praised the production for giving "new insight into Hedda," and described it as "clear and elegant."
